*Director - Leads an individual choir to plan large and small group activities using provided curriculum. Prepares and chooses songs that encourage kids to begin and grow their relationship with Christ. Meets with other directors throughout the year to provide a loving, nurturing, praise-making environment for the kids. Children’s Choir Ministry exists to lead children to use their gift of music to point back to God and give him the glory!

*Middle School Life Group Leader - Works in groups of 3 or more with specific groups that are broken up by grade and gender. Great middle school life group leaders all share one thing in common: they love students and deeply desire to see them fall in love with God.. Life groups are discussion based, curriculum reflects this. Life group leaders are less teachers and more facilitators as students learn what it means to follow Christ.

*High School Life Group Leader - Facilitates Bible study with students on Sunday mornings, divided according to grade and gender. Great High School Life Group Leaders get excited about leading students to a deep understanding of who God is and how to live for him.

Greeters - Welcomes members and visitors to the church, holds doors, and shake hands. Smiling people greet at the front and side doors. There are outdoor greeters who open doors and help people out of their cars and indoor greeters who help direct and say a friendly hello upon arrival.

Information Center Attendant - Monitors the information counter in the atrium during Sunday morning services. Their task is to offer information about the classes being offered using the lists that are posted, answer questions about ministries, and point people to classrooms.

Usher - Helps walk people to seats, offers them a bulletin, and gives a friendly greeting at the auditorium entrances. They also take offering. This important role completes the loop of making a good first impression from the ‘street to the seat’.

Prayer Group Member - Divides up into teams and takes an area of seats to pray over silently and cover our worship center in prayer. On Sunday mornings prior to the first service, we need prayer warriors to walk through the auditorium praying for our service, the pastor, and our church.

*Stephen Minister - Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one care to individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. A person must go through 50 hours of training to become a Stephen Minister.

We Love St. Charles - WLSC is an ongoing, community development effort being implemented through our Life Groups and Bible Studies. The church-wide effort will include initiatives throughout the year such as Coats for Kids, but the main responsibility lays on individuals and families from our church. Our goal is that our Life Groups and Bible Studies would come alongside a few families and help them achieve long-term restoration and introduce them to Christ.

International Students Ministry - Serves the 850+ International students at Lindenwood University through transportation, housing, and monthly activities. *Christian Activities Center - Provides activities and educational opportunities for underprivileged kids. The CAC is an after-school center in the Samuel Gompers Housing Projects, which provides a safe Christ-centered environment for kids in East St. Louis.

Carpenters for Christ - Serves our mission partnerships through building churches and serving locally through WLSC. Global Missions - Serves by assisting in the work of our church’s global mission partners to those who have no access to the Gospel through prayer, sending teams, ministry projects, and missionary support. We are committed to 5-7 short-term trips annually and also send long-term missionaries out through our Sent Missionary Training Program. We also have prayer events, Missions Life Groups, and Missions Conferences throughout the year.
