Join The City!
How do I begin?
Please send a request to Joey Wright and he'll send you an invitation to join The City. Please include "Add me to The City!" in the subject line. Make sure to check your junk mail! Once you have received your invite, follow these simple steps:
- On your email invitation, click “Sign Up For The City”.
- Create a login and password.
- Review and accept the Terms of Use.
- Click the “Start Here” topic on your front page after you login for tips on setting up your profile and using The City.
What do I need?
- The City is designed for ages 13 and up.
- You must have a valid email address.
- You must receive an invite to join.

Parents can help us make this transition incredibly smooth by completing 4 simple tasks:

Login to The City.
If you haven’t joined The City yet, now is the perfect time to get started. Ask any leader at church and they can help you sign up.

Link your spouse to your profile.
If you’re married, make sure your spouse is on The City, then go to your Settings page and click on the Family tab. Click +Add a family member, type in your spouse’s name, click on their picture, then click Save Family. Wait for your spouse to log in to The City and click Confirm under Family in their Things To Do section before you move on to the next task.

Add your children.
Go to your Settings page and click on the Family tab. Click +Add a family member, then select not in the city. Enter your child’s name, birthdate, and gender. Repeat for each child, then click Save Family.

Come prepared on launch day.
If you complete the 3 tasks above, your first check-in using The City will be incredibly painless. Just try to arrive 5 minutes earlier than usual, make sure you remember your City login and password, and have your favorite barcode card in hand.
What is it?
The City is simply a communication tool that will assist the people of FBCH in connecting in deeper community and mobilizing ministry.
Why use it?
- Designed for everybody in the church to use.
- Engages the entire family through the Children’s Ministry Module.
- Modernizes and maintains a current pictorial directory.
- Focuses on ministry, not data-management.
- Streamlines communication to the church through the use of a comprehensive church calendar, service opportunities, and daily announcements.
- Creates a private communication network to encourage 24/7 connection.
- Replaces outdated databases with user-driven content.
- Manages financial and giving records.
I've already created a login and password. How do i get to The City?
Once you have created a login and password, you can login to The City directly by going to fbch.onthecity.org.
